Do your windows and doors come with a warranty?
Yes, all of our products come with manufacturer warranties, and our installation services are backed by a one year guarantee.
How do I maintain my new windows and doors?
We provide care and maintenance instructions with every purchase. Painting of some product is required.
Orders & Delivery
How long does it take to receive my order?
Timelines vary depending on the product in question. Custom orders may take longer depending on the specifications. When we provide a quote we always will provide a timeline for your project and will follow up as things progress.
Do you deliver or just install?
We offer both delivery and full-service installation. If you prefer to install yourself, we can arrange delivery only or you can pick up the product at our shop.
Troubleshooting
What should I do if I notice a problem after installation?
Please contact us immediately. We’ll schedule a technician to assess the issue and resolve it under warranty if applicable.
Can I replace just one window or door, or do I need to do the whole house?
You can absolutely replace just one. Whether it’s a single unit or a full home upgrade, we’re here to help.
Eco-Fees FAQ
Why am I charged an Eco-fee on my purchase?
Eco-fees are used to support provincial recycling and disposal programs to keep end-of-life products out of our landfills and waterways. These diversion programs help protect our environment and our communities.
What does the Eco-fee cover?
Eco-fees cover the collection, transportation, recycling or safe disposal of hazardous and special materials, which currently have provincially run recycling programs in place.
Who sets these fees?
Stewardship organizations (provincially approved recycling programs) set the fees each year to cover these recycling programs costs. Home Hardware remits all fees collected from customers to these stewardship organizations.
If the item purchased is returned, will the Eco-fee be reimbursed?
Yes, if you paid an Eco-fee when you purchased a product, Home Hardware will refund that fee if you decide to return your purchase.
